This has been a busy busy week with lots of urgent, time-consuming projects. The life of a freelancer translator is often feast or famine, and this week was definitely feast, which I’m grateful for. I did manage to take a little break Thursday afternoon and we took Louis to the stadium/track field where Mamie and Papy coach athletes. I previously wrote about a track and field meet that we went to where Mamie participated by throwing the discus and Papy headed up the javelin competition. So for me, this was a little behind the scenes action. Louis loved it. He had the whole gymnasium to himself so he could ride his little car around the smooth floor, and then he learned how to throw a discus. Well, at least he got the spinning ’round and ’round part right.
