The circus and the zoo

The circus is in town and it is conveniently located in the Bois de Boulogne. When they aren’t performing under the big top, the animals are on display in the circus zoo.

We were invited to Laurent’s brother’s place for dinner last night and I was in charge of dessert. I love to cook, but haven’t done much cooking at all since we have been at my in-law’s.

We spent this past weekend in the tiny village of Nieurlet where Laurent’s dad grew up. Laurent’s grandparents have both passed away but the house is still in the family. The village is about 1,000 people, so there isn’t much
